Teaching Profile

As a consultant forensic anthropologist and forensic mortuary technician, I can offer expert teaching on Forensic analysis and all aspects of Forensic Anthropology. I have a considerable amount of experience in teaching primary secondary and university level pupils. I have worked for innovation 4 learning, Aim-Higher and as a supply teacher. I am also a lecturer in these subjects at the University of Derby.

I offer practical and theory based teaching, complying to all Key-stages, and custom built courses to suit individual requirements.

Topics Covered;

Forensic Anthropology - Calculating sex, stature, ancestry, age at death, paleopathology, manner of death and facial reconstruction

Forensic Archaeology - Burial location, exhumation and grave analysis

Autopsy Practice/Anatomy - Detailed insight to a forensic autopsy, including detailed anatomy teaching and forensic pathology.

 

I can offer ‘custom built’ sessions covering subjects that you need, and over various time scales at primary, secondary, university, adult learning and professional level (including police professionals, SOCO’s, funeral directors, legal professionals).
